Terms of Service

Last updated

These terms cover the use of AnyReplay. Using the service means accepting them.

What the service does

AnyReplay records sessions on websites where its recorder has been installed, and lets the people who installed it watch those sessions back and translate them into a language they read.

Your account

You are responsible for what happens under your account and for who you invite into your organisation. Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been used by someone who should not have it.

What you are responsible for

Installing a recorder on a website carries obligations that are yours, not ours:

  • Telling your visitors that their sessions are recorded, in whatever way the law where they are requires.
  • Obtaining consent where consent is required, and using the recorder’s consent controls to honour it.
  • Deciding how much of what your visitors type is recorded. Form values are recorded unless you turn masking on — on your website and in your mobile app alike — so configuring masking for anything sensitive, and for special categories of personal data in particular, is your responsibility. Passwords, one-time codes and payment card fields are masked whatever you configure; email addresses and telephone numbers are not, and it is for you to mask them if you need to.
  • Answering requests from your visitors about their own data. You are the controller of those recordings; we process them on your instruction.
  • Not installing the recorder on a site you do not control.

What we will not do

We do not sell recordings, use them to train models of our own, or share them between organisations. We access an organisation’s data only where it is needed to operate the service or where you ask us to help with a problem.

Availability

We aim to keep the service running and will not pretend it never breaks. There is no uptime guarantee in these terms. If one matters to you, ask and we will write one.

Ending it

You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your organisation and everything in it. Cancel any paid subscription first; closure then takes effect after a thirty-day grace period, during which any owner can call it off and you can export what you need. What we keep after that, and for how long, is in our privacy policy and section 11 of the data processing agreement. We may suspend an account that is being used to record sites its owner does not control, or in a way that endangers the service for others.

Liability

The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes

We will tell account owners by email before these terms change in a way that matters.
